I love being over 40 because I have shed the need for approval, embraced who I am and have the confidence to set boundaries and live authentically. I have a clear sense of my values and who truly matters. I have found joy in simplicity and self care. I have mastered balancing ambition and knowing when to relax. Through all of this I have kept my sense of humor and do not sweat the small stuff.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous embracing self love, setting boundaries and keeping a healthy balance between work and play. I enjoy being with my husband, children and my great friends. I invest in self-care physically and mentally. I am unafraid to try new things. I laugh often and continue learning and growing because staying fabulous is about owning my own journey and not chasing perfection.
What would you do with the $40,000?First I would donate to causes I believe in such as World Food Kitchen, St Jude and the Cancer Foundation. I would also be a volunteer at WPO & CSA to mentor women starting their careers. Then I would put some funds away in investments for my future and give some to my children who are starting their own independent journey.
