I’m not afraid to live authentically. I’d spent the better part of my younger years conforming to what I thought was the “perception “ of me. I realized what was most important was my own and how I conveyed that to my own children.
How do you stay fabulous?I understand that my life has only just begun at 50. I try not to sweat the small stuff, eat healthy and keep a positive outlook. Most of all I understand that fear is only an illusion we create ourselves. I’ve learned to push past the fear to find success waiting on the other side. My motto? “Do it scared! But Do It!”
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay off my college tuition at Penn State. As a woman who grew up in the Projects of Brooklyn, NY ( Borinquen Plaza Houses), a University Degree always seemed like a far off dream. Something that wasn’t meant for me. But I’m here. I’m an undergraduate Degree student majoring in Labor and Human Resources (4.0 GPA) My goal is to step into a role that will align to a future role as Chief People Officer. Latina, A Woman, Over 40! This journey is 50 years in the making! I win!
