When I was 47 years old, in October of 2020. I opened my own beauty salon. It was a crazy time to do so. Today it’s a very successful salon!

I have been through a lot in my life & have learned so much. I know what I want & what I don’t want, I have no problem saying so. I know that the only people that I need to worry about what they think of me, is ME & my family. I have learned that I can do anything if I just put my mind to it! I’ve learned to stand up for what is important to me. I run my own business, I’m a mom, a grandma and take care of a house and my family. But my favorite thing about being over 40 is being a grandma!
How do you stay fabulous?Being in the beauty industry makes it easy to stay young. Being around people that take care of themselves all day long definitely helps me stay fabulous! I eat healthy but allow myself treats when I want them. But the one thing that keeps me young is going to concerts! That’s my thing! I love the energy of the crowd and there is nothing like live music to make you feel alive!
What would you do with the $40,000?My daughter is a single mom. She has been living with me in my tiny house. 1000 sq feet. I did not want her to go out into the renting world. She would never be able to save to buy a house. So if I won that money, I would help her buy a house so my grandson and her could have their own home.
