I have two amazing children and an adorable grand puppy, I volunteer at a nonprofit and I am blessed to have a successful career as a CFO.
We would like to thank you for supporting Lisa Hearn in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
My past experiences, both good and bad, have taught me so much and have allowed me to live my life more authentically. I now embrace a sense of freedom, confidence and self-awareness that I didn't have when I was younger. My relationships with family and friends have become deeper and more meaningful. I feel more of a sense of self as I have grown older and am able to prioritize the things that matter most to me and make me the happiest. Life is good!!
How do you stay fabulous?I do my best to stay in shape, including routine exercise and eating healthy. I have also learned to prioritize self-care and ensure I do the things I need to do to pursue my passions, reduce stress and preserve my happiness. Surrounding myself with a positive support system is extremely important to me as I navigate through life's challenges. I am fortunate to have the best family and friends that a girl could ask for and I am grateful each and every day for their love and support!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would certainly invest in experiences, including travel with family and friends and making lasting memories. There are many places I would love to see given the time and resources to do so. I am also involved with a local nonprofit and would appreciate the opportunity to give more, both with my time and additional funding. The prospect of retirement is something I think of quite often, as well, so being able to invest additional funds would move me closer to that goal. Hopefully someday!!
