Receive Text UpdatesThe thing that I love most about being 'Fab Over 40' is that I have moved through decades prior ,with resilience, despite the bumps and bruises suffered. I love this feeling of liberation that enables me to walk through life with confidence and with an incredible lightness of being, blind to the opinions and perceptions of others. I truly feel fabulously free!
How do you stay fabulous?As trite as this sounds I strike a balance between psychological, physical and spiritual well-being. I invest in ‘Mental Toughness’ I stay mentally tough by tuning out the noise that attempts invalidate who I am. I defy societal beauty standards and define my own standard and define my own style. I reject the pressure to invest in cosmetic surgery. I accept my beauty as is.,
What would you do with the $40,000?I wish I could say I would buy myself something fabulous and spend it extravagantly, but at 56 there’s nothing else that I really need. So I would simply invest it in my son’s future and help he and his fiancé to be purchase their first home. Also given my dad recently andtraumatically passed way from cancer and two of my cousins are currently Breast Cancer Survivors at age 30. I would love to donate back a portion of funds to support Breast and Pancreatic Cancer awareness. This has to stop!
