I recently discovered just how strong, beautiful, and fearless I am. I play baseball on 2 competitive teams as an adult. I am a teacher.

I love the freedom and confidence that comes with being 40. My kids are more independent, I am financially stable and have somewhat of a disposable income, I know what is important in life now and what is not. I know how to stick up for myself. I put me first. I invest in me. Which in turn, has benefitted the people around me that I care about and whom care about me.
How do you stay fabulous?I have always been active. I play competitce baseball on 2 women's teams in the summer. I jog and work out at a gym. I paddleboard. I go to concerts. I make time to catch up with my friends and family, even if that means a quick coffee together. I tell people I care about that I love them...my friends, my family, my partner, my students. I wear my heart on my sleeve and trust that the majority of people are good.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would invest a small portion on me. I would buy something I've always wanted, but never did. Then I would invest some into my friends, even if it was a night out, my treat. I would invest some into my family, probably a trip with my kids to St. Maarten as my son is a plane enthusiast. The rest will definitely be put away for my future, and my kids schooling.
