I am 56 and full of life! I teach high school students and I feel just as youthful. I love to travel the world and experience all I can.
We would like to thank you for supporting Linda Thibodaux in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
Being over 40 does not mean life has to stop. I am more mature, independent, and capable of making decisions which allows me to live life to the fullest. My decision to never let an opportunity pass by has allowed me to expose myself to vast diverse cultural experiences.
How do you stay fabulous? To stay fabulous, I first keep my mind young with the proper vitamins, natural herbs, and drink lots and lots of water. Next, I stay active by doing yard work and some extracurricular activities at school with the students. In addition, I use wonderful products to keep my skin youthful looking. I participate a lot with student activities by sponsoring clubs, supporting athletics, and community work. I love to walk in nature, paddle board, and swim. As an educator, I am always willing to learn.
What would you do with the $40,000?First, I want to give back to my students. Especially this year, since the seniors graduating are the students that started with me as freshmen and now I teach them as upperclassmen. They will be leaving to embark on their next journey and I would love to apply some scholarships. In addition, put some of it in trust for my granddaughter. Then, I would pay on a couple bills, hurricanes take a toll on our life experiences here in Louisiana. Last, plan a wedding and a honeymoon in the near future.
