What do you love about being over 40?

I love how more confident we become as we become older. I love that you can look at life and begin to see all the experiences that you have had have made you who you are and not regret one thing that you have done. I love the peace that comes more easily and drama is not a part of my life. I love being a mother and watching them grow and seeing their journey unfold before them as well. We all learn from the things that we have done and I’m watching them do the same.

How do you stay fabulous?

I do somatic yoga 4 to 5 times a week. I also teach a yoga class one time a week in the summer by the creek near where I live. Meditation is done daily. I walk at least 2 miles a day almost every day depending on the weather. I try to eat healthy, but I don’t diet. I feel that I should be able to eat what my body is craving and I do that. I use a lot of Essential vitamin oils for my face, but buy these at discount places. Spending time with friends is a a must to laugh and connect.

What would you do with the $40,000?

I am extremely satisfied with my life and the what I have. I love the people that are in my life and connect with. That being said, I would want to share my winnings with my sons, my family and my friends. The best way would be to buy a small beach or mountain place that everyone would be welcomed to. This has been a dream of mine since my divorce in 2015. Everyone would be invited when we are there BUT would also get to have a week or weekend that they can enjoy with their family!
