I know more of what I want in my personal life. A life filled with adventure, love, laughter, and free from toxic relationships. I look forward to growing my rental property business and finishing school for an accounting degree. I want to be a mentor to other women who have suffered from abuse. An example to all that we can thrive in spite of hardships in our lives. That with God and work within ourselves, anything is possible. Being over 40 is a new beginning that we get to choose.

Aside from skincare? I do my best to not let hardships take control of me. I try to live with faith over fear. I take on challenges like a dog with a bone. I am grateful for all the good and do my best to give the rest to God. I have had many hardships in my life that have tried to destroy me, but I choose to persevere. I continually find ways to educate myself and to work toward healing. My kids, boyfriend, & line dancing help keep me young. I also choose love over hate.

First, I would be in disbelief I won! I don’t know what others see, but they always say I look great and that they admire my accomplishments. I am being encouraged to take part in this competition by others while I’m just like “Ok, I don’t expect much but why not. Another adventure.” So, yeah.. disbelief and then excitement! I would donate some, and probably decide to use the rest to grow my business or to finish my education. Would also like to have an excursion with my kids, if possible.
