I turned 44yrs old this year! I am learning to thrive in the 2nd part of my adulthood as a single mom of two beautiful boys.

I'm a mental health advocate and a Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) survivor. My experiences have led me to learn how to take care of my mental, emotional, and physical well being: as well as be a support to others in need. It's been a journey of self discovery and recovery over the past 6yrs. I feel present for my children, family and friends now. My career as a Commercial Lines Underwriter is progressing and thriving. It feels like life is just beginning for me in my 40's.
How do you stay fabulous?I start my mornings very early, when it's quiet with my coffee and journal. I workout everyday and try to incorporate continuous learning into my routine. Staying present in the moment and being of service to others have been powerful recovery tools. My family and friend connections are important aspects to balance self care, responsibilities and having fun. Everything I do is fueled by a bigger picture now.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate $10,000 to breast cancer and pay for my son's college/university school.
