Finding my true self, a little peace of mind and keeping up with Hollywood.
We would like to thank you for supporting Liliana Isella in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
Having the confidence I didn't have before. After going through breast cancer at 39, my 40s are the humble yet fierce aftermath of my entire life before.
How do you stay fabulous?Ballet, Meditation and Gratitude. I started Ballet at 28 years old and when I got my breast diagnosis I was studying dance at Santa Monica College; once in remission, after a one year treatment, I changed my major to Liberal Arts, so to add to the pot also Piano, Theatre and Creative Writing. Friends. The city I married, Los Angeles. My native Italy and my Italian family. My dreams. All my Animals. Self-care. Unconditional love. Discipline. Prayer. Delusional hope. Twisted humor.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate a 20% to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), as I love animals and they love me back unconditionally. With the rest I would invest a part in my podcast about Hollywood Journeys, L.A. Dolce Vita, that has just launched on YouTube and it needs a little professional boost in the make-up/hair area, editing and marketing. And, the remaining would go to my retirement plan... or, maybe toward the deposit for a cute little place in my Italian hometown of Varese? Thank you!
