After surviving breast cancer you really put things in perspective. I had a double mastectomy and severe complications after. I love that I finally realized I can look in the mirror and see my natural beautiful self! This has been a long journey to learn to love myself. It took losing part of me to learn how to love all of myself just the way I am! I used to look in the mirror to just put makeup on to try and look flawless for the world, now I use very little and try to just be me! This is me!
How do you stay fabulous?I am making healthier choices, I stay active, cleaning houses, helping take care of my Dad and a elderly couple, I love swimming, taking Jeep rides, but I have Lupus and other autoimmune diseases so it’s a struggle to exercise regularly. But I do try to keep up with my grandkids (6 &4). My family and the long lasting friendships I have built keep me steady. Sometimes I struggle with my Lupus, but keeping a positive attitude is the only way you can get through the bad parts of life. Always smile!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to be able to make the big payoff. My house! That would give me so much freedom. I would hope to be able to go on my dream trip down Route 66 and visit my eldest son in Denver, my beautiful Daughter in Oregon, and my dear friend in California. Also make my life so much easier to manage. I am single, on disability, had double mastectomy, and severe complications! So this would be life changing for me! I would also like to take my grandkids on a trip to the beach to make memories.
