I’m 45, I have 2 kids, 3 dogs, run a construction company and I am also the founder and President of 2 local non-profits.

I don't think that I really KNEW myself until after I turned 40. I knew what I wanted out of life and I had my goals but I didn't really know ME. I think the stability of being a self made woman, being independent and being confident in oneself is something that comes with age. You learn to fly as a young adult but you really get to enjoy the ride in your 40's. I love that at my age I am able to make new life goals and get to enjoy watching my children reach theirs.
How do you stay fabulous?My family and friends keep me fabulous. With 2 teenage boys at home and an enormous extended family we are constantly on the go! I love to golf and play pickleball with my friends. Go to the lake, take minivacations or weekend getaways when possible. I am definitely a work hard, play hard type of person. I work extremely hard to provide for my family and employees but when I am not working I am definitely doing something fun!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use a small amount to take my kids on a trip since my oldest will be a senior in high school next year. I would use the rest to help pay for things I need to fix around my house and save the rest for college for my kids.
