I am more confident now than I was in my 20’s and 30’s. One gift of maturity is realizing that most people are not judging you harshly and in fact are more obsessed with their own self/self image. Once I really got that and learned to totally love and respect myself, the more I get that back from the world around me. I love my life. I have a beautiful family, deep and supportive relationships with my husband and my friends. I have a sense of work-life balance and prioritize self care.

I exercise a lot! I take dance classes several times a week. I started Zumba in my 40’s and now take more intensive dance classes with and that is a huge joy in my life. I strength train l(muscle = youth!) I eat healthy. I have a lot of solid friendships and I nurture those relationships. I enjoy keeping my home clean, stylish and organized. And I don’t forget to spend time with the people I love. I work hard but I try to keep a balance. And I am kind to myself and I am kind to others.

I would invest it either as a down payment on investment property or otherwise invest it. I would first take a chunk and bring my family (two young adult sons and husband) on a trip to Europe. And maybe a couple of upgrades on our home (I love my backyard- I have an outdoor living room! But there is a lot that needs to be done including the possibility of building an ADU where my mom can live when she needs to. So as you can see lots if ideas!
