I am a mother of three beautiful girls (all born in the same calendar year!) & changed careers @ 40… from business to mental health!

At 40, I am full of life experiences, good and bad, that I can be used to help adolescents! I have learned to accept my challenges in life and make them into stepping stones to grow and become an even better version of myself. I have the confidence to be myself regardless of my company and truly feel confident in speaking my opinions and ideas to those around me. At 40 I decided to change careers from finance/business into mental health counseling for adolescents and give back!
How do you stay fabulous?As a licensed esthetician, I have the knowledge and ability to use discretion in beauty and skincare products. I love lasers, skincare and body care that offer noticeable results. I also exercise regularly doing pilates and strength/weight training at the gym. I focus on getting enough sleep to let my body heal each night and keep my cognitive function sharp with reading and classes or clinics. I love to volunteer in my community to gain connection to others!
What would you do with the $40,000?If chosen, I would use the $40,000 to start my own mental health clinic for adolescents that is inclusive to everyone! I would use the funding to locate an office for adolescents that is easily accessible from school or even within the school. I will use funding to get more education for employees and self on how to better counsel youth in mental health crisis or with mental health disorders. My dream is to be a safe place for the youth in my area to obtain mental health services.
