What makes me fabulously 40 is that I’m a mom of two beautiful girls, I’ve always taken care of my family but never forgetting about myself.
We would like to thank you for supporting Leidy Lopez in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
What I love about being 40 is my way of seeing life, how mature I react to things that one day I didn’t know how to react. That I have lived and experienced so much that now I focus more on me, my health, mental health and my happiness. I don’t judge my body anymore I love all about me and every scar my body has. I thank my past and the scars behind because thanks to them I’m the person I am today, strong and faithful to myself. Proud of the woman I am today.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by being happy, grateful for waking up each day healthy next to my beautiful family. I try to eat healthier, stay in shape, focus more on using good products for my skin, having a good balanced diet. Loving myself a little more, being kind to myself, speak words of affirmation every morning when I wake up. I try everyday to be more conscious of what I eat, do and think, I believe a good mindset is everything.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would travel with my kids and plan a solo trip to meditate and focus a little more on myself. I would take my mother to a mom and daughter trip because she just won the fight of breast cancer so she deserves this and many more joyful moments. She’s my inspiration. As a mom sometimes we don’t have time for ourselves so I think it’s important to make that small space for you. I would also save and invest in something that eventually will pay back in a positive way towards me and my family.
