Being fab over 40 encompasses many things. I’m settled in my career of 32 years, yet continue to enjoy life, family, friends and community.

I love that I was born during the “X” generation. It’s made me appreciative of technology. In some areas we are more skillful whereas we search for answers, no GOOGLE. I love being over 40 also because some people aren’t always fortunate to attain that age. I love that I have been able to see myself change and progress for the better through each stage of my life up to this point. I have been met with many health challenges in my life, but I love that to look at me, you would not even know.
How do you stay fabulous?My primary focus is remaining spiritually grounded, by reading, studying. I also attend church regularly. I make sure that I spend quality time with family and friends. This may include meals, shopping, trips or sometimes just FaceTime to check in with one another. I also try to contribute to my community. Maybe short vacation alone; which I haven’t done in a while just to destress from my career(corrections). Sometimes just hang out in the house in sweats or pajamas and do absolutely nothing.
What would you do with the $40,000?The first thing that I would do is donate a portion of it to a 5013C and my local breast cancer care center. I would next invest some and pay off bills of course.
