We would like to thank you for supporting Lauren Ocepek in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
My experience is that with age comes self-assurance, confidence, and internal peace. As I have matured, I have developed a strong sense of who I am and I flourish in my individuality. I define wisdom as having the knowledge without the emotional charge and I gladly exchange each year for the continuous wisdom. Life is a journey of self growth and every day I am better than the prior. I have gotten clear on my gifts and I give them away on a daily basis.
How do you stay fabulous?I do the traditional weekly exercise of running or gym classes, I go to a nutritionist and take nutraceuticals, I get facials regularly, I get lymphatic drainage massages, and of course Botox (my motto is the best wrinkle is the one you never got). I also strive to live a life of full of vitality. I am very active with my kids and I believe in creating so much magic for them in their childhood. I’m the mom who does constant activities for each season of the year.
What would you do with the $40,000?My mother was a school nurse and had a tremendous passion for caring for others. She passed away in 2015 waiting on a heart transplant. My family and I founded a nursing scholarship fund in memory of her to continue her legacy and to pay it forward. We give away a scholarship each year to a nursing student in need. I would donate it to continue her legacy.
