I always feared turning 40 because that was so "old." What I didn't know is how life is now just beginning! Children aren't babies anymore and you are able to find yourself again in a way you never knew YOU were capable of. I am so much stronger than I ever knew and now, in my second act, I feel empowered! As I reinvent ME, in a new and unfamiliar world of influencers, I see that I am a strong, confident woman and I finally take care of myself, because I'm i know now that I am worth it!
How do you stay fabulous?It's not always easy! Navigating new territories and #perimenopause, life is challenging! But I owe it to my younger self and to all of the other women aging up right behind me who are scared! And to most certainly stay fierce!! I need to show the world that 40 is NOT old and that you can still be sexy, beautiful and stylish way beyond 40. Aging isn't a death sentence, it's a privilege!! And most certainly feeling beautiful and confident is the key to happiness, at any age and any status!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would do so much! I would continue investing in myself as an influencer and give back to my community with so many new and near new clothes. We have 3 local nonprofits that provide services to women to pay bills, find jobs and dress them for success. I find so much joy in helping these women find their joy and confidence and being part of their journey to bettering their Life! It's the most amazing thing to be a part of and even more amazing becoming their friends and mentors!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
