What I love about being over 40 is that I have learned to embrace everything about me. My positives, my negatives and even my flaws. No body is perfect and I would like to show that you can be beautiful in your own skin, I hope it will help people embrace that in themselves. I have also learned to accept things I cannot change and only focus on what I can control to make myself a better version of myself.
How do you stay fabulous?After being diagnosed with melanoma-skin cancer-earlier this year, I’ve learned to live in the moment. My family and four children definitely help me with that. I feel if we don’t appreciate what we have and what we are going through, we will miss creating those unforgettable moments. I also try to take care of myself as much as I can, physically as well as mentally. If you have a good mindset even on the negatives in your life, it can really help get you through those tough times.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use the prize money to take care of my family. I would help pay off debt and bills which can be quite overwhelming. It would really help with my children’s college and education also.
