Connect What do you love about being over 40?

There is a comfort that comes with the experiences you’ve had; you are more confident in your decisions, confident in being alone and confident in venturing out to start your own company. Being 40 doesn’t mean it’s too late to start your own company, learn a new language, move to a new country, start a family, it’s a growth journey and it is unique for each human. I personally grateful to every experience that shaped who I am today.

How do you stay fabulous?

I read a fair amount of books, workout, try to eat right; all the things you are supposed to do. For me, it’s traveling to become more well rounded, staying innovative with work and never leaving a place worse than I found it. Above all of that I surround myself with the right friends and family that love and support me no matter what. Women truly are the best and I’m thankful for my own group of cheerleaders.

What would you do with the $40,000?

A portion would support starting my own business. The idea here is to leave the earth better than we found it to give you a hint. In addition to that, I’m a huge advocate of supporting animals and would make donations to Rescued Pets Movement, an elephant sanctuary in Thailand and people that are in need of support in the wake of Helene and Milton. I’d also take my mom on a vacation because without her, I wouldn’t be who I am today and I want to make sure we are making core memories as adults.
