Honestly just being here..alive. Not because of illness even though I have plenty but I lost both my parents/guardians to Cancer breast and brain at 17. I was left lost and prior to that I was born a child of neglect due to the Drug epidemic in Newark, NJ. My life has been about survival; then you look up and realize you're 43 and you did it in spite of circumstances..I'm stunned at the woman I am today at 43.
How do you stay fabulous?I live in color, no one can define me but me and I express my mood with my furniture artistry and attire. I lead with kindness and am empathetic of anyone that I cross paths with because I know everyone is going through something at any time. I preserve my peace by ensuring that I put myself first as an neglected child I tend to think of myself last but at my age I prioritize my overall health because i deserve happiness that leads to fabulousness!
What would you do with the $40,000?Well I recently had (4) 24 cm tumors which cause me to have a hysterectomy so medical bills will be paid. However I am a furniture artist and sustainable interior designer. I would like to insulate my new home studio and be able to invest in my business to include website design. I closed my retail location due to health and cost. I know I am meant to continue to share my love of interior design, art, creativity and history with the world.
