At 43, I’m a single mom to a 14 yr old, thriving in IT as a QA Tester, guided by God, and on track to start a digital marketing company.

What I love about being over 40, especially as I approach 44, is the clarity, wisdom, and confidence that come with this phase of life. As a Black woman living in Dallas, TX, and the mother of a bright 14-year-old daughter, I feel more grounded in who I am and more certain of the path I’m walking. This stage of life has brought a deeper understanding of myself, my values, and my faith, which has been a source of strength and guidance through every season.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is all about balance, self-care, and embracing my authentic self. First and foremost, I prioritize my mental, physical, and spiritual health. As a woman of faith, my relationship with God is at the core of everything I do. Daily prayer, meditation, and daily manifestations keep me grounded and help me navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience. This spiritual foundation fuels my confidence and gives me peace, which I believe is key to feeling and looking fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?First, I would tithe a portion of my winnings to my church. Secondly, I would invest a portion of the money into my dream of starting my own digital marketing business. I want to create a business that helps others succeed online while giving me the freedom to build a life on my own terms. And lastly, I’d also use some of the money to invest in my daughter's future. Whether it’s for her education or helping her explore her own dreams.
