Who knew 40 would feel this fabulous? After shedding 100 pounds (and a ton of self-doubt), I'm strutting into my best years with newfound confidence. Gone are the days of bending over backwards to please others – now I'm too busy pleasing myself! I've traded external validation for internal celebration, defining happiness on my own terms. And the best part? I'm still young enough to chase my dreams – heck, I'm dreaming up even bigger ones!
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous after 40 is all about embracing life's adventures! I keep my body and mind in top shape by hiking scenic trails and taking refreshing swims. But the real magic happens when I unleash my creativity. Whether I'm crafting unique treasures for my clients or sharing snippets of my fabulous life on social media as an influencer, I'm constantly finding new ways to express myself. It's not just about looking good – it's about feeling vibrant and inspired every day. Who says you can't
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I'd launch a non-profit empowering women of color in the beauty industry. We'd allocate funds strategically: about $5,000 for legal setup, $11,000 for operations and marketing, $16,000 for program development including expert-led workshops, and $6,000 for seed grants to aspiring entrepreneurs. The remaining $2,000 would serve as an emergency fund. This organization would provide not just financial support, but also the emotional and educational resources these women need.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
