I love the fact that I don’t look like I’m over 40 or at like it for that matter! As a 50 year old black woman I pride myself on being a positive role model for others to see and say wow, shes really embracing her age even as my hair starts to turn gray I’m looking forward to it. Aging doesn’t scare me it’s a privilege that I’m blessed to be doing. There’s a certain type of freedom that comes with getting older. Plus the genes I’m blessed with don’t hurt either!!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by making sure to have time for ME! If I make time for me it helps me be a better wife, mother and I’m able to run my bridal hair business more efficiently. I make time to workout in the infra red sauna and meditate regularly; as a woman in menopause it’s important for my overall mental wellbeing to be the best version of myself for my family, especially since I homeschool my son. Also maintaining my spiritual peace is very important to me and something I must do everyday.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use some to expand my business and travel more. I’d assist my hubby with his dream of marketing his published book. I would get caught up on some bills. Then I would put the rest into an account to go towards our 10 year old son’s education.
