I was so thankful for life the day I turned 40, I’ve been living the dash everyday since. Instead of chasing the things, I chase the experience. Love my people a little longer and harder and enjoy the small things life has to offer.
How do you stay fabulous?Jesus! All the good things you see in my life are all thanks to the Lord. I have an incredible support system including my husband and 4 sons. Self care! I’m good to my body with healthy food, lots of water and enough exercise to say I exercised. (Just being honest) I also have a great therapist, mental health isn’t talked about enough. It’s so important and I’m not embarrassed to talk about it. If it helps just one person, it’s worth it.
What would you do with the $40,000?I want to invest into bridging the gap between completed treatments and learning to live life after cancer. When the support slows down, scars are healed and it’s time to find that new normal. That’s where I want to be able to make a difference. I believe self care after cancer treatment is an important part of the journey. We need more of that!
