Being fabulous over 40 comes with confidence, beauty, empowerment, wisdom, and strength. I have a clearer understanding of my priorities and am better equipped to make decisions that align with my values and aspirations which include enjoying time and a lot of laughter with family and friends, traveling and embracing other cultures, and working as a long held passion of mine as a Reading and Dyslexia Interventionist while building students’ confidence.
How do you stay fabulous?I focus less on external beauty, as authenticity and age have helped me accept that societal expectations matter less. With exercise (those 5 am workouts!), proper nutrition (and a little bit of ice cream and chocolate), sunscreen, daily skincare routines, and understanding what your body needs, has led me to better self-care, Growing older has helped me understand and embrace my own strengths, my body (and all its curves) without having to seek external validation.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I'd first invest in a piece of land, securing a foundation for the future. I'd also take a much-needed vacation to recharge and refocus. Most importantly, I'd allocate a portion to fund specialized teacher training for supporting students with dyslexia, ensuring they receive the proper education and tools to thrive. Balancing personal growth, relaxation, and contributing to a meaningful cause would make the most of this opportunity!
