What do you love about being over 40?

I’m bursting with confidence and I’m wildly unafraid to chase my dreams. I’m wiser than ever, wearing my scars like badges of honor. I know what I bring to the table, and hunny, I’m not afraid to eat alone. Independent and indestructible are words I’d use that convey my leadership qualities necessary for the work I am currently doing. It takes a village, but I’m saving women and children from the dark under world of domestic violence and course of control in the family court system.

How do you stay fabulous?

Gratitude and grace. No matter what, I’m endlessly grateful, even for the challenges, because they teach me lessons that I carry with me in my next adventure. If you possess grace you can master anything, even the toughest things. I am in nature every single day and teaching on an organic farm gives me the freedom to teach children the true meaning of what genuinely matters. Instilling kindness in children is so rewarding and my students inspire me. My daughters keep me vigilant in my abilities.

What would you do with the $40,000?

Save some for a rainy day. A dream vacation and invest in my future endeavors to make the world a better place. Invest in my daughter’s future in whatever dreams they have, I can fund and support their dreams in a way I wished for as a young woman. It would be a true gift of love, encouragement and freedom to not be held back due to monetary restrictions.
