I am a 47 yr. old single mom of a 22 year old son who is going to law school. I have lupus and osteoporosis and I am a VP of talent.

Wisdom. The wisdom to know what the things are in life that truly make me happy. Being comfortable and confident to advocate for myself. The challenges I faced getting a diagnosis for Lupus would have been easier if I had the confidence to speak up and push back when doctors were telling me it was all in my mind. And boundaries!! Being able to set boundaries and not caring who is judging me or what anyone thinks. My 40’s and beyond are about me and my wellness!
How do you stay fabulous?I work hard at practicing self love. I believe it all falls in place when you truly begin to realize it does not matter what anyone else is doing. I also exercise as much as my body will allow me to. Slowing down and appreciating life has also allowed me to be as fabulous as I can! And last but not least, less is more.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to be able to help my son pay for some of law school. Also, have some work done to the inside of my house! My hands have been affected by my lupus and osteoporosis and I cannot be as hands on as I want. I spend a good deal of time at home with my dogs and family(they help me with my mental health and physical health issues) and it needs a refresh! I have become a homebody!
