First of all the opportunity itself! Both of my parents died young and for me to be 50 now in addition to feeling and looking my best brings me great joy! Secondly and equally important, is the ability I have to reflect and review the years behind me and impart that as a mentor to women following me. I love having experienced so much life and intentionally taking in the wisdom and lessons accumulated and using them to press on, each day more and more expectant!
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous isn’t about beauty but more about self care. It’s time spent doing the things that bring me joy; helping others, building my business, learning new hobbies, long walks in the sunshine, sometimes the rain. Taking care of my skin is something I enjoy and practicing a consistent skincare routine is both therapeutic and important to me. Smiling and being mindful of positive self talk is a vital part of being the allowing me to be the best me possible.
What would you do with the $40,000?The first thing I would do is help contribute to my middle son’s and our family’s first wedding this winter. Secondly, I would use the rest to pour into my business and expand the opportunities to bring value and meaning to the lives of the seniors my Homecare services. I am hoping to purchase an interactive whiteboard for teaching and developing both agency and family cargivers.
