I received my bachelor’s degree @ 42, my masters @ 48, and just began my 15th year of teaching. I do my best to stay in shape w/running.

I love that I have gained some wisdom, and learned from my mistakes, in hopes that I might be able to one day impart that wisdom unto others. I love hearing my son say “Oh my gosh, I’m turning into my mother” when talking about raising his own son. I love watching my daughter become a kind, selfless, thriving, independent woman, knowing that she is so much smarter than I was at her age.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by teaching 2nd grade (they keep me young). I also run with my daughter (she completed her first 5k this Fall with me), play pickleball, work in my yard, travel when I can, and spend time with family and friends. I try to eat healthy, take care of my skin, and try to remember that age is just a number.
What would you do with the $40,000?There are several things I would like to do with 40,000! I need windows and siding. I would like to help my children get ahead as much as possible. I would like to live by the rule of give some, spend some, and save some. I’m going to have to retire sooner or later. Lol
