I love the power of using what I've learned over the years. The good, the bad, the painful, and the joyful. I love that I have a different view of the world than I did when I was in my 20s or even 30s. Not everything is a fairytale, but it doesn't mean I can't find magic in every day. I also love that I have better hair than I ever did when I was younger. I also love being an aunt to my little niece Maddie. She certainly adds magic to my day.

I started running a few years before my 40th birthday and have run countless 5ks, Half Marathons (did 13 13.1s in 2013), and four Marathons, including the Boston Marathon when I raised $35k for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I now mix my exercise regimen with Orange Theory, Pilates, and of course, running. I stay fabulous by staying connected with my family and friends and enjoying life. That might mean spending the summer attending New Kids On The Block concerts or enjoying the time together.

I would certainly use this money wisely, either by investing for my retirement (remember, I'm an independent business owner), but I'd also make sure I treat myself and my family to a little fun. I'd also invest in my business and even look to surprise some others who might need to feel a little more fabulous, too. I also give rings to people in memory of my dear friend Lex. The rings tell the story of a circle of friendship that Lex started and it's a story that I continue to share with others..
