I love the maturity, the wisdom, the fearlessness and the camaraderie amongst women in their 40s. Honestly, to still be here is the biggest reason I love being over 40! What’s not to love? Waking up, breathing, walking, loving and laughing at any age is a blessing but when you’re battling cancer it becomes a gift! It’s a gift to be here to get to be here to share the many chapters of my life story.
How do you stay fabulous?I find it difficult some days to balance self-care while caring for my father and my family. It seems impossible most days but I’m quickly reminded the importance of finding the time! I make it a point to get outside and just soak up whatever Mother Nature provides each day! Rain, snow, sun, the heat, the cold, are all reminders that in order to appreciate the good days you must also respect the not so great ones.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had $40,000 I would likely use some of it to go on a vacation with my husband and my kids for our upcoming 20 year wedding anniversary in June 2025. We always said we would renew our vows and take the honeymoon we never got when we reached that 20 year mark and there’s nothing I’d love more than to be able to do that. I’ve been given the blessing of life and what better way to celebrate that then with the people who mean the most to me.
