What I love most about being 49 is the freedom to truly embrace who I am, beyond the roles I’ve played in the past. As a young mom, my 20s and 30s were all about raising my daughter, with every moment focused on nurturing her. But now, I’m discovering life in a whole new way—fearlessly, unapologetically, and full of curiosity. Being over 40 feels like a second act—one where I’m writing my own story and savoring every chapter.
How do you stay fabulous?At 49, I stay fabulous by embracing the passions that have shaped me throughout my life—reading, cooking, writing, and welcoming change with open arms. Reading keeps my mind sharp and curious, offering endless inspiration and new perspectives. Cooking is my creative outlet, where I pour my heart into each dish, blending flavors from my travels and memories. Writing gives me the power to reflect on my journey, share my stories, and connect with others on a deeper level.
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning $40,000 would make it possible for me to fulfill a long-held dream: taking a multi-generational trip with my mom and my daughter. This journey would allow us to celebrate our bond as three women, each at different stages of life, creating lasting memories together. Being able to share this adventure with the two women who mean the most to me; it’s an opportunity to connect, honor our shared experiences, and pass down stories and traditions in a meaningful way.
