The best thing about being 40 is having all the life experiences and using the lessons I’ve learned to make better decisions for myself and my family. I’m more mature, not only in age but emotionally as well. Also, I’m a lot more fiscally responsible. It’s amazing not having to struggle or feel like you have to prove yourself to the world.
How do you stay fabulous?I’ve learned to be a little bit selfish and realize that it’s more than ok to take the time to take care of yourself. All the responsibilities at home make life crazy and if I don’t stop a take a breath for myself it’ll definitely drive me insane. I love my kids and my partner, and he definitely is there to support me in any way I need.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would probably take half and be responsible with it. Either invest or use it to pay down our mortgage, and then take the other half and put towards a new car or amazing vacation for our family. … or maybe I’ll just say screw it and use the whole 40k on fun experiences with my friends and family. Either way, it will be money well spent.
