What I love most about being over 40 is the fact that I have so many more life lessons and experiences that I’ve learned from underneath my belt. I’m happy about the fact that I was able to learn from those experiences and become a little bit wiser and a little bit stronger every single day. The older I’ve gotten of them more self-reliant and independent I have become.
How do you stay fabulous?Exercise and eating healthy, however I am not obsessive about eating perfect all the time where I would never eat a piece of pizza. I do internal inventory’s and journals to regularly assess my emotions, my goals, my relationships, among many other things in order to keep them moving in a positive trajectory and continuing to learn and grow.
What would you do with the $40,000?Go back to school and finish my psychology doctorate! This has been a dream of mine for years, however certain life circumstances have been keeping me in a stand still: a genetic spinal disorder which I just had 2 spinal surgeries to help fix it! Also I had debilitating psoriatic arthritis, and my mom passing away so I had some important family responsibilities I needed to put at the forefront. One of my major hesitations in going back to school at 43 was student loan debt!
