I love feeling empowered through life experiences. As you age, you learn that this experience equals knowledge. I also feel that being middle aged is the strongest age. The younger generation lacks experience. The older generation is unfortunately not as current with the changing world. Therefore, middle aged people are in their prime and I’m embracing that! I also love that I grew up in the 80s which I believe was the end of the innocence. I’m glad I saw the world back then.
How do you stay fabulous?I try to be the best mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend and teacher. I support my children in all they do. My husband and I still have date night. I maintain lifelong friendships and continue to go out on girl's nights. I keep up with current trends and maintain self care. I talk to my parents daily and see them often. My siblings are my best friends. I give my all as a teacher by planning fun, engaging activities for students to learn. I realize I am truly blessed!
What would you do with the $40,000?My conservative nature would not allow me to splurge too much. I would probably spend some of the money on gifts for my family and maybe a handbag for myself. I would pay some bills and save the rest for a rainy day.
