What I love about being over 40 is the sense of peace I have with being who I am. I have confidence in myself and I love to share that to help others radiate in their own skin. We’re all beautiful! Oddly enough this is the healthiest I’ve ever felt! Being a mom of 3 amazing kids and watching them turn out to be amazing young adults and knowing that I’m their example is rewarding.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by doing things I enjoy and staying active. I love being apart of my small town community, I volunteer at our fire department. Sporting events with my kids and practices keep me busy as well as my full time job. I love the outdoors and kayaking, hiking and yoga.
What would you do with the $40,000?My community it very important and we’re a very small town. I would love to use the fund to help those in need, I spend a lot of my job dealing with oncology patients and have become part of our fire department team to do a stair climb this March for the leukemia and lymphoma society to raise money and awareness of blood cancer. I know a lot a families who are struggling and would love to ease some of their financial burdens.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
