I love that I am more secure with my whole self than ever. Age and experience has made me realize that uniqueness is my superpower. There is no other me, and that alone is worth being excited about. There is no need to compare myself with others. In fact, I love when I get the opportunity to lift up other fabulous women (people in general, really). I just appreciate life, and all of its fleeting, mundane, and magical moments, more than I did in my youth.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by doing the things that make me happy. I dance whenever I feel like it, I explore, I read, I stay connected with my friends, I run around with my dogs, I cook with my husband, I laugh as much as possible, I sing out so my sister in heaven will hear me, and I write all the time. Not neglecting my heart is what makes me fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?My beautiful sister, Samantha, wanted to visit Mallorca, Spain in order to connect with our family lineage. She passed before getting to do this. She was 49 years old. If I won $40,000, I would make that trip to Mallorca with my mother and other sister, Misty. This would be a lifelong dream realized for each of us. It would also be an opportunity for us to experience something together that I can hardly find the words to describe. I would, of course, write about it! :)
