The idea of “growing older but not up” helps me stay young at heart. To me, being fabulous (over 50) is all about living your best life.

I love being comfortable/ confident in my own skin. I like drawing on life’s past experiences/ lessons (that have helped me embrace each challenge & triumph along the way.) Life is for the living and (after being diagnosed with cervical cancer when pregnant) I love living my life each & every day.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by waking up each day & seeing it for the gift that it is. I stay fabulous by seeing the rose instead of the thorns. I get outside (play, run, swim, smile). I appreciate more (& complain less) to help find joy in the little things. My faith, my beautiful family, friends, colleagues, all my kiddos (I’m fortunate enough to teach); not to mention my growth mindset - help me stay fabulous on a daily basis. I truly am grateful, thankful, blessed & forever fabulous (at 51).
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to help my parents with the journey they are on. My Dad has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s (which is why I committed to raising funds & running the NYC Marathon last year -with the Alzheimer’s Association.) My Mom, continues to be our rock while scheduling trials & appointments for my Dad, which is not always easy . I would also love to contribute funds towards METavivor; an organization that gives 100% towards stage IV metastatic breast cancer research. Stage IV needs more. 💚💙💗
