When they counted me out, God intervened. With His grace, I defied the odds of my circumstances. I’m fabulously walking in His favor at 44.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kenesha Britton in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love the blessing of waking each day with the wisdom that comes with age. I enjoy being able to move without restraints or permission. With this age comes confidence to color outside the box to achieve self-actualization. Not feeling guilty about doing things my way and walking in my authenticity. Acceptance that sometimes there’s value in letting go, especially if it’s draining my cup.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by minding my business and doing the things that bring me peace. Protecting my energy by being selective about who and what I allow to enter my space. Practicing self care and meditating. I choose my battles carefully and I do not focus on things I cannot control. I focus on family, health, financial literacy, and leaving a legacy that my children will be able to capitalize on and pass down to the next generations.
What would you do with the $40,000?First and foremost I would first pay my tithes. I would then use the monies to relaunch my business, KBritton. It’s been a long 3 years for my family with the passing of an aunt, 2 grandmas, and most recently my dad in June 2024. It’s taken a toll on my children, particularly my 8 year old daughter. Hence I would take them somewhere nice to relax. Last but not least, I would give back by sowing into the lives of homeless Veterans, foster children, and breast cancer patients.
