In my 40s, I feel freer than ever to be myself, largely shaped by the loss of my two children and the joy of raising my five healthy kids. I cherish the privilege of growing old and take pride in teaching my children individuality and self-expression. After learning about Batten Disease and Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, I've connected with others who share similar experiences. Now, people see me as a vibrant, carefree individual, and I embrace that feeling. Also love dabbling in burlesque.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by teaming up with Dynamite Dames Photography to help women see just how amazing they are, no matter where they are in life. It keeps my creativity flowing, and I really enjoy inspiring other women to love themselves just as they are right now. Loc'ing of my hair and being more mindful about what I eat, like ditching meat, has made a big difference too, along with spending time outdoors and staying active. What would you do with the $40,000?I think it would be wonderful to start by giving each of our five kids $3,000. They've been through so much with the loss of two siblings, and they really deserve a little joy and support. I'd also love to set aside $15,000 to complete the conversion of our 40ft school bus. The remaining $10,000 would be perfect for any unexpected expenses and would give us the opportunity to travel while we search for our forever home.
