Connect What do you love about being over 40?

Turning 40 felt more like an accomplishment than a punishment. I am embracing that age is truly just a number, nothing more sinister. My 40’s have given me freedom with wisdom, I know who I am now and I live her truth by being compassion, assertive, reliable and honest. I have honored and cherished who I am at my core and stopped trying to bend and fit myself into places and relationships that no longer serve me. My 40’s have brought me to a fab career where I am linked with other kickass ladies

How do you stay fabulous?

Oh you know I keep that thang on me!! (sunscreen that is!) Sun care is my staple skincare step. Being blessed with fair skin, I have tried and tested just about every type of sun block product. Apply and reapply, I do not let myself fry. My other secret sauce is topical hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C serum. Also, a unit or 50 of Dysport helps keep my expressive face in tip top shape Body wise, I love listening to great playlists while I indoor cycle. I also do weightlifting and hot girl walks

What would you do with the $40,000?

Firstly, I would thank New Beauty for their generosity! Secondly, I’d use a portion of the money to help my parents fix up their home, my childhood home, to make necessary household repairs and buy them wall to wall new carpets (you do NOT want to know how old their carpets are). I’d squirrel away some money into my husband’s and I’s saving account for a rainy day and donate some of the remainder to the PCOS Awareness Association, a charity near and dear to me as I have insulin resistant PCOS.
