I am a survivor. What makes me fabulous is I am 49 and finally starting to live. I have a passion for people and life.
We would like to thank you for supporting Keisha Thomas in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love having the freedom to choose. Our youthful years are more about conforming to standards as a woman. When you realize that almost half your life has gone by there is a new just for life and tuning more into our spiritual realm, finding our greater purpose and sense of self. Having already taken so much pain and loss and other traumas I love knowing I made it through all of that and can look for a brighter future.
How do you stay fabulous?Praying and praying true to my love for people and nature. Knowing that I have a profound purpose even if I don't yet know what that is.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would finally put down on a house. And I don't have a car so I'd get an old car and have a "home" my Children can come to. I would also help my mom as much as possible. I never thought she got what she deserved out of life.
