What I love about being over 40 ( just turning 47 in October) is I am really leaning into what scares me, excites me and challenges me. This season in my life has taken me out of my comfort zone somewhat drastically. Embracing this time would have only come after 40 as I would not have "trusted the process" and take on all that life threw my way. In the words of author, radio host, entrepreneur and style maven Bevy Smith, I am realizing "It Gets Greater Later!"
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by striving to stay mentally and physically fit. Connecting with family and those I call framily (friends who became family}, therapy and a sense of self awareness in my personal style. Fabulous is not just a word. It is a feeling that comes from within. Every day we may not feel fabulous and that is okay. Knowing that you are giving every day your all, makes you FABULOUS!
What would you do with the $40,000?Hmmmm. What would I do with $40,000? I have learned later in life the importance of financial freedom so paying off a few things would be first. Saving next and becoming an entrepreneur where I can combine my love of art, music and research. To have that opportunity would be life changing!
