Turning 40 eight years ago felt like I was given full permission to live my life unapologetically. I no longer spend time self-criticizing or worrying about what others think. I’m embracing the journey, moving through life with peace, confidence, and no reservations!
How do you stay fabulous?Watching my mom, who was also my best friend, walk over 3 miles every day until she was 73, sparked something in me to start walking. For years, she asked me to join her, but it wasn’t until I lost her to uterine cancer that I felt the push to start taking better care of myself. We were so deeply connected, almost like twins. The heartache of losing her is something I’ll never fully get over, but I’m pushing through. I also make sure to eat a big salad every day, take annual girls' trips, and so
What would you do with the $40,000?I’ve always believed in pouring into others, especially those closest to me! I have a gorgeous daughter (my mini BFF) who’s about to head off to college, & a super handsome son who plays select baseball, so the money would definitely be put to good use. I’d also love to book a special family vacation, invite my sister/BFF (my favorite double breast cancer survivor), make a donation to our church, & pay off a few bills. That $40k would go towards several meaningful things for my beautiful family.
