I love the wisdom and confidence that comes with being a 46 year old woman. I’m still young enough to enjoy life, but old enough to know better. When the storms of life come our way, woman over 40 are true warriors!
How do you stay fabulous?I have always been dedicated to nutrition and natural ways to heal our bodies. Although I am a social worker, my family jokes that I am the family “doctor.” I have encouraged my aging parents to try new ways to improve their health and longevity. I am also passionate about women’s reproductive and post reproductive health because of my ongoing battle with uterine fibroids. Regular check ups and screenings for females are crucial!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would give 10% to my favorite charities in my town: Shelterhouse and Midland’s Open Door. Shelterhouse is a domestic violence shelter and Midland’s Open Door is a homeless shelter where I worked for four years. I would also take my boys on a vacation of their choice. Maybe we will go to Disney World since they have never been. The rest will go to investing in their college educations.
