Receive Text UpdatesWhat I love about being over 40 is knowing my children as young adults. Our favorite pastime is sitting around the card or dinner table with our boys while they laugh and enjoy each other. The youngest are 17 and oldest 23 and married. When they were little, the days were long but the years were short. Watching them grow as individuals and close brothers has been the greatest joy.
How do you stay fabulous?I think fabulous is a mindset. I choose to do things that make me feel good. Travel, work at a meaningful job, maintain lashes, fun nails and bling. I love to laugh, meet people, learn their stories, and stay connected with a core group of moms who meetup for dinners and I always feel fabulous after connecting with them when our busy lives allow. We just met up last night and it’s a great reminder to make time for things and people that make you happy.
What would you do with the $40,000?I’m about to be promoted from Mom to Grandmother. I’d take our whole family on a memorable vacation before the baby is born and assist my oldest and his wife finish building their first home to raise a family of their own—and buy some blingy baby outfits, of course 💁🏼♀️
