What I love most about being over 40 is that I no longer care about what others think about me. I’m comfortable and confident with the person I am. I know my worth as well as the integrity that I live by. I’m no longer afraid to stand up for what’s right and I believe that kindness always wins. The level of freedom that comes with being comfortable and confident in your own skin is simply priceless and pun intended “freeing”! Always follow your passions and do what makes you happy!
How do you stay fabulous?I make sure I take time for me and that includes pampering myself. Whether it be getting my nails and toes or my hair done or just doing something I enjoy. I also make sure I take care of myself by eating right, taking walks and balancing work and home. I firmly believe in taking time for yourself and giving yourself that reset. I think it keeps us young. I also enjoy giving back. I’m part of a local charity that supports our local children at Christmas time. The experience is just priceless!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay off debt, take my family on a much needed vacation, donate to my local animal shelter and breast cancer research (of course) and put the rest on a down payment on a home.
