Now that I'm over 40 I can literally say I've planted a tree, built a house, brought up my family and, finally, reached the point where I can start doing other things that I physically didn't have time to do when I was younger. This is the time when I can focus more on my health and fitness, on my career, participate in community events to advance causes that matter to me. Being over 40 is when you let go of insecurities of youth and acquire experience, strength and wisdom that age brings.
How do you stay fabulous?Fabulous is so many factors. I keep both my mind & body active & healthy leading my family by example; I never stop learning. I've grown by pushing myself into the uncomfortable by taking opportunities like joining the non-profit The Moth Mainstage & traveling with them around the country sharing my story; I stay on top of the current events, research beauty innovations, & always stay curious. I love fashion & staying in tune with the latest trends. My fabulous family/friends keep me fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?In case of winning I pledge to donate part of the amount to the breast cancer foundation. The rest of the amount will definitely help me support my children with their college tuition. And, of course, some will allow me to spoil myself a bit.
